Ingredients

  • 1 cup of beauty berries fresh or frozen
  • 1 banana for natural sweetness and creaminess
  • 1/2 cup of strawberries fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup of coconut water or almond milk for a hydrating base
  • 1 tablespoon of honey optional, for extra sweetness
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chia seeds optional, for added fiber and omega-3

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Knife (for chopping fruits)
  • Glass or serving cup

Method

  1. Prepare the Ingredients: Wash the beauty berries, banana, and strawberries. Peel the banana and chop it into smaller pieces.
  2. Add to Blender: Add the beauty berries, banana, strawberries, coconut water (or almond milk), honey (if using), and chia seeds (if using) into the blender.
  3. Blend: Blend all ingredients together on high until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more coconut water or almond milk to adjust the consistency.
  4. Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass and serve immediately. Garnish with a few extra beauty berries or chia seeds for a nice touch.

Notes

  • You can replace beauty berries with other antioxidant-rich fruits like blueberries if they’re not available.
  • For a creamier smoothie, you can add a scoop of Greek yogurt or a handful of spinach for an added boost of nutrients.
  • You can adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or using a ripe banana.
  • Store any leftover smoothie in the fridge for up to 24 hours in an airtight container, though it's best enjoyed fresh.
