Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until well combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the centre comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
Once completely cool, slice and serve.
