- Prepare the Oven and Bacon, Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil. Arrange the thick-cut bacon slices in a single layer without overlapping.

- Make the Seasoning Mixture, In a small bowl, combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well to create the sweet and smoky coating.
- Season the Bacon, Sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the bacon slices. Add a light drizzle of maple syrup or honey for extra caramelization if desired.
- Bake the Bacon, Place the tray in the oven and bake for 20–30 minutes, or until the bacon becomes golden brown, crispy, and caramelized.
- Rest and Serve, Remove the bacon from the oven and place it on a paper towel-lined plate. Allow it to rest for a few minutes before serving.
