Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder
  • 2 oz hot water about 70-80°C
  • 1 cup cold milk or dairy-free alternative like oat, almond, or coconut milk
  • Ice cubes
  • Sweetener of choice optional, such as honey, maple syrup, or stevia

  • Whisk (preferably a bamboo matcha whisk)
  • Spoon or matcha scoop
  • Tall glass
  • Ice cubes

Method
 

  1. Prepare the Matcha: Sift 1-2 teaspoons of matcha powder into a small bowl. Add 2 oz of hot water (around 70-80°C) and whisk vigorously until smooth and frothy.
  2. Prepare the Glass: Fill a tall glass with ice cubes.
  3. Combine the Ingredients: Pour the prepared matcha over the ice, then add 1 cup of cold milk (or your preferred milk).
  4. Sweeten (Optional): Add your preferred sweetener and stir well to combine.
