Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup milk
  • ½ cup chocolate chips optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat Oven & Prep Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a mini muffin pan with paper liners.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  3. Cream Butter & Sugar: In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Add Eggs & Vanilla: Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Combine Wet & Dry: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk, until just combined.
  6. Fold in Chocolate Chips: Stir in chocolate chips, if using.
  7. Scoop Batter: Spoon batter into the prepared mini muffin pan, filling each liner about ¾ full.
  8. Bake & Cool: Bake for 12–15 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
