  • 1 lb ground beef 80/20 ratio recommended for juicy patties

  • 4 slices of cheese cheddar, American, or Swiss
  • 4 burger buns
  • Optional toppings: lettuce tom

Method
 

  1. Cook the Mac and Cheese: Boil the elbow macaroni according to the package instructions. In a separate pan, melt butter, whisk in flour, then add milk and cheese until the sauce is smooth. Stir in the cooked macaroni, season with salt, pepper, garlic, and onion powder, and set aside.

  2. Cook the Burger Patties: Season ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 4 patties. Cook the patties on a grill or skillet for 4-5 minutes per side. Add cheese slices on top during the last minute to melt.
