Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe mango or ½ cup mango puree
  • 10 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 lime cut into wedges
  • 2 tsp sugar or simple syrup, to taste
  • 2 oz white rum
  • Sparkling water or club soda to top
  • Ice cubes
  • Garnish: lime slices and mint sprigs
  • Optional: chili-lime seasoning for rim

  • Tall glasses (highball or Collins)

Method
 

  1. Muddle the Base : In a tall glass, add lime wedges, mint leaves, and sugar. Muddle gently to release the oils and juice—don’t overdo it or the mint can turn bitter.
  2. Add Mango: Add the mango puree and stir to mix with the muddled base.
  3. Pour the Rum: Add 2 oz of white rum to the glass.
  4. Top It Off: Fill the glass with ice and top with sparkling water or club soda.
  5. Garnish & Serve: Stir gently, garnish with a mint sprig and lime slice, and enjoy immediately!

  • No Rum? Skip it and add more soda for a tropical mocktail.
  • Mango Options: Use store-bought mango puree if fresh mango isn’t available.
