Method
- Make the Syrup: Break the papelón into pieces and dissolve it in 1 cup of hot water over medium heat, stirring until fully dissolved.

- Juice the Limes: Squeeze the juice from 4-5 fresh limes into a bowl.
- Mix the Drink:In a pitcher, combine the papelón syrup, lime juice, and 3 cups of cold water. Stir well.
- Serve: Add ice cubes to chill. Stir again and taste. Adjust sweetness or tartness if needed.
- Garnish (Optional): Add lime slices or mint for extra flavor and serve.

Notes
- Adjusting Sweetness: Depending on your taste preference, you can add more or less papelón syrup. If you want a sweeter drink, use more syrup; if you prefer it less sweet, reduce the syrup or increase the lime juice.
- Chilled Option: For an extra cool refreshment, store the Papelon con Limón in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours before serving. This allows the flavors to meld and the drink to become extra refreshing.
- Add-ins: You can add a splash of sparkling water to give the drink a fizzy twist, or for an adult version, add a shot of rum to create a Venezuelan-inspired cocktail.
- Storage: If you have leftover syrup, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week, and use it for other drinks or to make more Papelon con Limón later.
