Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cook the noodles: Boil the Ronzoni lasagna noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
Prepare the meat sauce: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Brown the ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes. Pour in tomato sauce, and season with basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
Prepare the cheese mixture: In a bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, and a pinch of salt. Mix well.
Assemble the lasagna: In a greased baking dish, start with a layer of meat sauce, followed by a layer of noodles, a layer of the cheese mixture, and repeat. Finish with a final layer of sauce and cheese.
Bake: Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
Rest: Let the lasagna sit for 10-15 minutes before serving to help it set.
