Ingredients
  

  • 1 can 12 oz grapefruit soda (e.g., Squirt or Jarritos)
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 tbsp chamoy
  • 1 tsp Tajín plus extra for rimming
  • Ice cubes as needed
  • 3 –4 slices of fruit pineapple, cucumber, orange, or mango
  • Optional: Tamarind straw or sour candy stick for garnish

  • Tall glass or mason jar
  • Small plate (for Tajín rim)
  • Spoon or stirrer
  • Knife and chopping board
  • Measuring spoons

Method
 

  1. Rim the Glass: Rub lime around the rim of your glass. Dip into Tajín to coat the rim.

  2. Add Chamoy & Lime Juice: Drizzle chamoy inside the glass walls and add fresh lime juice to the bottom.

  3. Fill with Ice & Fruit: Add a generous amount of ice cubes and your fruit slices.

  4. Pour the Soda: Slowly add grapefruit soda until the glass is full. Stir gently to mix.

  5. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle more Tajín on top, add a tamarind straw or lime wedge, and serve immediately.

Notes

  • For a healthier version, use fresh grapefruit juice + sparkling water.
  • You can adjust the spice level by reducing Tajín or using a sweeter soda.
  • Chamoy alternatives: mix apricot jam + hot sauce + lime juice in a pinch.
