Method
- Prep the Yuca: Peel the yuca root using a sharp knife, cutting off the waxy outer layer. Slice into 3-inch chunks and boil them in salted water for about 15 minutes or until tender yet firm.
- Cool and Slice: Let the boiled yuca cool slightly. Cut it into thick fries, removing the woody core from the center of each chunk.
- Season the Yuca: Toss the yuca fries with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Ensure every piece is well-coated.
- Air Fry the Fries: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the yuca fries in a single layer inside the basket. Air fry for 15-18 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Serve and Enjoy: Garnish with fresh herbs like parsley or cilantro, and serve with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy your crispy, flavorful fries!

Notes
For Frozen Yuca: If using frozen yuca, make sure to thaw and boil it first for optimal texture.
Air Fryer Tips: Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for the crispiest results. If needed, cook in batches.
Customization: Feel free to experiment with spices. Try chili powder for some heat or parmesan for a cheesy twist.
Storage: Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. To reheat, place in the air fryer at 350°F for 5-7 minutes until crispy.
