Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1 cup milk or almond milk unsweetened or your choice
  • 1 –2 tablespoons turbinado sugar honey, or sweetener of choice (optional)
  • 1 –2 cups ice adjust for desired thickness
  • Optional: 1 scoop vanilla protein powder or 2 tablespoons nonfat dry milk

  • High-speed blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

  • Glass or smoothie cup

Method
 

  1. Prepare the fruit by washing and hulking strawberries and peeling the banana.
  2. Add strawberries, banana, milk, sweetener (if using), and ice to the blender.
  3. Blend on high speed for 45–60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more sweetener, ice, or milk as needed.
  5. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
